Ginger Chavis
Bambini Community Director, Infants Lead Guide
Ginger has been dedicated to Montessori infant & toddler communities for more than two decades. She enjoys spending her days with young children and sharing the joy of discovery with others. She has taken on many roles over the years. Ginger started as a toddler assistant, fell in love with the Montessori method as a young parent, and earned an AMS Infant & Toddler Credential from CMTE/NC in 2009. She has guided infant communities, toddler classrooms, parent-child classes, and taken on administrative responsibilities. She is currently the Director of Nurturing Nest Montessori School in Columbia, MD. She was drawn to leadership through her progression of growth experiences and passion for Montessori philosophy.
Ginger has three children who were all fortunate to attend Montessori schools in their early years and are now embracing early adulthood. Experiencing the Montessori Method through the development of her own children was life changing, and she continues to look forward to spreading Dr. Montessori's insights with others. In her free time, Ginger loves to spend time with her family. She is intentional about being outdoors and in the garden. She and her husband are beekeepers and raise backyard chickens. She is a Maryland native and an explorer at heart.
