Toddlers Co-Teacher

Katherine Grastorf - Katherine has played an active role in a variety of experiences with children for more than 25 years. She has been a long time nanny to several families as well as a jump rope team coach, throughout her teens and adulthood. After completing an early childhood certification program in high school and attending college, she worked at Nurturing Nest Montessori school as a Lead Infant & Toddler Teacher for 5 years. She earned an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and a bachelor's in Child Development, with a minor in Sociology in 2007. Recently, she has been working as support staff at a local farm's outdoor homeschool program, serving children 5 - 15 years of age. She is excited to bring her learning spirit and enthusiasm for guiding the young child to The Journey School community.
