Azucena Amoah

Early Childhood Assistant

Azucena Amoah returns to the Indigo Buntings classroom as an Assistant Teacher. She has enjoyed preparing the environment for optimal learning and has been an active role model in her community. She supervises outdoor experiences and oversees the early childhood nap experience as well as the Early Childhood Aftercare program. She earned her bachelor's degree in Global Studies, with a minor in Sociology. She has also completed 90 hours of preschool certification and 50 hours of Montessori Fundamentals. In her free time, Azucena enjoys gardening, reading, traveling, and spending as much time with her family. She has two daughters that recently joined The Journey school.
